MAKE SURE TO UNDERSTAND ... that you have many, many search options other than just the initial search screen.  Many folks mistakenly believe that they are limited for example by the narrow price increments on the initial screen.  Not true!  Subsequent search screens allow you to search by dozens of filters and allow you to enter ANY price range you want, as wide or as narroy you want and you can search by MLS Area or City, or Zip and again, filter by many, many different parameters.  Email or call me if you have questions on this.  If you use MLS Area as a search filter, make sure that "LA County" is selected (it will be above where you click on MLS Area)

Then when you click the "Edit Criteria" link, you will see this screen.  Now this is only a partial screen because when you are really there, you can scroll down more and select from dozens of filters including view etc etc etc.  But this first screen shot will give you an idea of the important parts...
